Paper format
All the papers must be written in English, and must meet the Springer compliance. For templates and style files please see:

(La)TEX Template or MS Word Template.

DO NOT put headers/footers/page numbers in your paper. Additionally, it is critical that page margins should be strictly observed.

Paper submission
The author(s) should submit their papers electronically in the PDF format via PaperPlaza system. For the final submission, a manuscript should be of a conventional length not exceeding 12 pages.

All submissions will be reviewed by at least 2 independent reviewers in a single-blind review process. Before final acceptance of a paper, all referees’ comments must be considered/addressed and a response letter of author(s) should be attached to the final version of the paper. Upon acceptance, the author(s) will be required to register and present the accepted paper in person during the PCC 2026 in Poznań.

PhD student authors are invited to express their interest in participating in the PhD Students Contest for the Best Paper Presented at the 22nd Polish Control Conference 2026 when submitting their paper through the PaperPlaza system. (Please, fill in the questionnaire option in the submission form). The detailed rules of the contest are presented here.

Papers may be submitted in one of two possible categories: as regular papers or as special-session papers. If a submission is intended for a special session, the author(s) are required to indicate an appropriate session code as listed below:

Paper publication
The necessary conditions for a paper to be included in the PCC 2026 conference proceedings book and published in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series are summarized below:

  1. The paper has been prepared and formatted according to the Springer requirements
  2. The paper passed the PCC 2026 review process and has been officially accepted
  3. Copyrights and other necessary forms have been signed and submitted by the author(s) of the paper
  4. A full registration fee for the PCC 2026 has been paid by at least one (co-)author of the paper
  5. A paper’s content has been presented in person during the PCC 2026 (i.e., the presence of at least one of the paper’s authors at the PCC 2026 venue is required).

PCC Guidelines using third party materials
Based on information provided by Springer representatives, the authors are asked to consider the rules for using third-party materials. Details can be found in the  Springer Nature Guide to Copyright and Permissions, which provides guidance on how to include third-party content or material that has been previously created and published elsewhere in the manuscript.

Third-party content refers to any material included in your manuscript that is not originally created by you. This can include various types of content, such as text passages, figures, photos, poems, song lyrics, screenshots, and more. Such content may originate from diverse sources like the Internet, print and online books and articles, theses, annual reports, conference material, photocopies, course packages, and translations. Particular care should be taken with sensitive materials, including images of identifiable individuals, logos, brands or trademarks, content from agencies or the Internet, as well as textual materials like song lyrics, poems, interviews, social media posts, and mentions of commercial entities.

To obtain permission to use third-party material in your manuscript, first visit the Rights Holder’s website or the Copyright Clearance Center Marketplace. If the material is not available there, please make your best efforts to use Springer’s Permissions Request Form and/or Release Request Form to obtain permission—especially when dealing with interviewees, identifiable individuals, or owners of identifiable property in the source material. If the rights holder provides their own permission form, ensure it includes all the Required Rights as described in the ‘Guide to Obtaining Permissions’ section of the Springer Nature Third Party Permissions Guidelines.

It is advisable to start the permissions clearance process as early as possible to prevent delays in publication. You might also need to negotiate with rights holders if their terms do not meet the required standards. Ensuring that the rights you secure fully cover the rights granted to us as the publisher under your publishing contract is essential for a smooth process.

Please do run any permissions queries past us if you’re unsure.

Springer Nature is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the scientific record and, as a member, adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines for addressing potential misconduct. It is therefore essential that the research you submit complies with international standards for responsible publication. We recommend reviewing Book Publishing Policies and Guidelines to ensure your manuscript meets these publishing standards before submission.
